Edition 12, Volume 2
June 15, 2007
Today's Date:
Welcome to our Newsletter...

Wow! Where does the time go? June is half gone and this is the final issue of our first year for the Great Vacation newsletter. The “official” calendar date marking the beginning of summer is just a few days away, but we all know that summer begins with Memorial Day weekend “…down the shore.”  If you’re like us, you’re at the shore every chance you get.

So far we’ve enjoyed a great meal at one of our favorite spots, gotten some beach time, walked “the boards” on one
of our favorite boardwalks, visited some new attractions in
Atlantic City, drove by Lucy the Margate Elephant
(her “howdah” was down on the ground while they repair some damage from a storm last year – and it may be back up already as we write this), and general enjoyed the sun and fun of Summer 2007.

Check out all that’s going on in this issue, the attractions, featured businesses, places to shop and dine, the photo galleries on our main website, all the pictures send to us by folks who read this letter, and be sure to check out our two news family members: GreatVacationPropertyRentals.com and GreatVacationShoreRentals.com: our invaluable user-friendly direct connections to help you discover the prefect places to stay on your vacations and weekend getaways throughout the summer and all year long.

Email this newsletter to friends and family. It’s FREE, and it will help them find all those great places to stay and things to do, as well. We extend our thanks to each one of your who have been with us through this first year of our Great Vacation newsletter. July begins year number two, but we don’t want to wish time away too quickly, so let’s concentrate on the fun at hand during June’s second half.  In closing, we offer you this thought: Have a truly great vacation this year! We’ll do what we can to offer you the ideas and information you need to make your summertime the best it can be.

Sincerely,
The Editors

Bloomin’ Tulip

There is an Ocean City tradition that began over 30 years ago (1975), and it has continued to this day: breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Bloomin’ Tulip, 10th and Ocean (between Ocean and the Boardwalk on 10th Street – in the Impala Inn complex)

From May 15th through Columbus Day weekend the doors open at 7:30 a.m., and remain open until 9:00 p.m. seven days a week so that you and your family can come and enjoy a great meal at an affordable price.   The cuisine at the Bloomin’ Tulip is best described as classic American, and their specialties run from pasta – Alfredo dishes, scampi dishes and much more – to fabulous fresh seafood and steaks. Don’t miss their Prime Rib special on Sunday evenings.

Their desserts are terrific, too. Did we mention the homemade cheesecake? The Bloomin’ Tulip is the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner for everybody, from year-round Ocean City residents to vacationing families, weekend visitors and people stopping by for a day at the beach, on the boardwalk, or for a host of other fun activities available in Ocean City.
